We started the class by going over the Adonais poem from yesterday. Make sure that you are studying your vocab. Then we spent the rest of the hour looking at a great piece of Feminist satire from Judy Syfers. Parts of the essay are a little antiquated but the interesting part is how much of essay is still applicable. The questions are due Thursday and I would suggest asking your parents what they think about the division of gender roles. How far have we really come?
Tomorrow is the Great Huck Debate and I can't wait to see how they go.
Remember we have to start as soon as the bell rings so make sure you are ready to go.
